AHA Instructor Class in Ethiopia

Take our AHA Instructor class in Ethiopia and learn to become an American Heart Association CPR, BLS, ACLS, or PALS Instructor. We are the only Training Center officially authorized by the American Heart Association to perform AHA classes and train Instructors in Ethiopia.

Our 2020 AHA Instructor curriculum emphasizes mastery of skills instruction and skills testing. While anyone can become a BLS or CPR Instructor, the ACLS and PALS Instructor courses are limited to experienced healthcare providers. All who complete the Instructor curriculum receive an official AHA 2-year Instructor certification.

Self-paced Instructor Course

The AHA Instructor class is self-paced and allows Instructor Candidates to complete steps according to their availability:

  • Instructor Candidates begin with online training in their discipline, learning the fundamentals of AHA Instruction in the convenience of their home or office.
  • Upon completing the online training, Instructor Candidates meet in person to practice and test on hands-on skills.
  • Upon completion of the Instructor curriculum, Instructors can teach anywhere in Ethiopia and even charge fees for their courses.

Instructor Course Steps

The American Heart Association Instructor Course is the foundation of teaching response to medical emergencies and cardiac arrest. The steps of our AHA Instructor course are as follows:

  • Obtain provider certification
  • Complete AHA Instructor Essentials
  • Complete our online Instructor Course
  • Practice and test on skills
  • Fill out paperwork
  • Begin teaching!
Anyone can become a BLS, First Aid, or CPR Instructor. No medical experience is necessary. ACLS and PALS Instructor courses are restricted to certified healthcare providers.
